Design Victoria is a five-day festival, the first of its kind, that celebrates the thriving design community of our city. Launched in 2023, this event showcases the creativity of local designers and design businesses through installations, exhibitions, events, open houses, tours, and workshops.
I joined forces with the event's founders to swiftly create a website and establish a cohesive visual identity for the festival and its social media presence. Utilizing photos provided by vendors, my role involved ensuring these images looked consistently appealing and aligned seamlessly with the festival's online platforms.
We opted for a straightforward template that proved both scalable and efficient for swift integration of new participants and events. Through the development of a design system for category thumbnails and page content layouts, we ensured a consistent and unified look across all elements.
The assets maintained consistency with the website, while also incorporating branding graphics to certain elements. This enabled us to provide shareable content to vendors for them to promote on their social media platforms.
